Speaking to Penetration testers on a daily basis, the results of the report that 60% of hacks are successful did not surprise me. 

In life, it seems that those committing crimes are always one step ahead and Cyber crime is no different. Significantly, once they're in, the hackers can navigate through the network 70% of the time.

Perhaps these findings need to be more widely published to ensure companies are taking a proactive approach to mitigating risks rather than reactive actions to cyber attacks.
