The more meetings I attend, the more I hear that 'machines are taking over the world'!
Now I may not agree, the art of human interaction and communication is still key in the modern world (there will always be a place for face to face meetings, a handshake, eye contact) however, the ability to capture huge amounts of Data and use it to make better decisions is clear for us all to see and be apart of.
The question is, if we are moving towards an artificial intelligence takeover, what effect will this have on employment, team size and social interaction in 5 years time?
Recently I gave a talk about my thinking that the Next Digital Disruption is big data and AI. I call it Big Data Intelligence. Artificial intelligence or AI, has become pervasive in business in every industry where decision making is being fundamentally transformed by Thinking Machines. The need for faster and smarter decisions and the management of big data that can make the difference is what is driving this trend. The convergence of big data with AI is inevitable as the automation of smarter decision-making is the next evolution of big data.
