I don't claim to know anything about code.
However, I think it is fairly obvious to see that what Salesforce is doing is cutting edge.
It gives a huge amount of flexibility for end users, business users and traditional developers without the need for a whizz who cuts code.
I know from speaking to Developers that code for Salesforce is one of the easiest and most straight forward in the market.
In your opinion is the ease of the code a positive or to its detriment?
Yes, the fact that anyone can build an app is important, but it's also important to note that experienced developers and designers are key to delivering compelling tools to end users. That doesn't mean that developers can't benefit from the tools and technologies that let us deliver low code solutions, it just means that they're going to use them differently.
